Spatial determinants affected maternal mortality of East Java province during the COVID-19 pandemic era, in 2020-2021

Background. Every life aspect and group of the community have changed during COVID-19 pandemic, including pregnant, childbirth, postpartum woman. Pandemic occurred in 2020-2021. Maternal mortality East Java Province was highest Indonesia pandemic. Objective. This study analyzed effect spatial determinants that consist antenatal, post-partum care on maternal Pandemic. Methods. used a crossectional method with unit analysis this all childbirth women 38 districts from 2020 until 2021. Data were regression by using Geographically Weighted Regression Software. Results. had spreading pattern negative value diff criterion, so we concluded there influence. The variables antenatal care, accessibility healthcare service, third visit, complication service significant effects regions (P<0,05). There four groups showed similarity factors. result each region’s diversity health services affects era. Antenatal services, access to facilities affected high rate. Conclusion. region has its mortality. top government should give authority local programs reduce according condition their region.
